The Genesee linen trouser is our newest shape, an adventure into something a bit more tailored. It features a true high waist, finishing around 2.5” above the natural waist. This makes it perfect for shorter length blouses or even a knotted tee or tank. They are similar to the “beach pajamas” of the 1930’s with extra wide legs, giving a tailored and playful look. The undyed dark linen gives a neutral background for any color pairing. The extra high waist features front pleats and back darts. Side opening with brass zipper and button tab. Deep inseam pockets for comfort and ease.

Please note, this is a solid waist item. Measurements given are the size of the garment, not your body. We recommend choosing a size that is 1.5” to 2” smaller than your actual waist measurement.

While every body is different, the natural waist of the body is generally where a crease forms when you bend to the side, often around 1” above your navel. These trousers finish 2.5” above that point.

There are two lengths offered, with a 2.5” difference between long and regular lengths .

100% undyed linen. Machine wash, cold, gentle. Tumble low 15 min to reduce wrinkles, then air dry. Iron or steam from inside.
